This 2022 Swiss-Korean Joint Research Projects Funding Alert is to inform you about new funding opportunities for Joint R&D Projects between Switzerland and Korea to develop ready-to-market solutions or products. This call is announced by the Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology (KIAT) and the Swiss Innovation Agency (Innosuisse)

Who is the call aimed at?

The call for joint innovation projects is aimed at companies and research institutions in Switzerland and South Korea (consortia) looking to carry out a joint science-based innovation project. The partners (project consortia) must include at least one commercial company from each country and one research institute from Switzerland. This year’s call will be followed as two steps:

Launch of Join Call 2022:  February8, to April 14, 2022

Communication of recommendations for next step: End of May 2022

Full-proposal submission : August 1, 2022

Communication of the evaluation results: end of Oct. 2022

Webinar for interested parties: March 3 2022

The eligible funding areas: all topics but following topics are particularly appreciated

(1) Biotech; Medtech

(2) Digitalisation; Industry 4.0 ; IoT

(3) Additive Manufacturing

(4) Smart Materials / Innovative surfaces

(5) AR and VR

(6) Hydrogen Technologies and

(7) Renewable Energy & Batteries  

 

Each country will fund its eligible participants according to their national procedure and funding rules. Funding conditions and eligibility criteria may vary from one country to another. On request partners will be instructed in detail by KIAT and Innosuisse how to apply for funding.
